MUMBAI: After a long sabbatical, Kapil Sharma returned with his show on Sony TV. The comedian-actor is back to make the audiences laugh with his jokes, funny acts and antics. Kapil's show is one of the top comedy TV series as from Amitabh Bachchan to Shah Rukh Khan to Deepika Padukone has been to the show to promote their films.  

Even with this new season, there are many superstars who are gracing the show. Recently, the star cast of Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga - Anil Kapoor, Juhi Chawla, Rajkummar Rao, and Sonam K Ahuja shot for an episode with Kapil.

While talking to a leading media, Juhi Chawla said that she had earlier appeared on Kapil's show and at that time, Kapil used to start the shoot at 11 pm and finish it by 3 in the midnight.

But this time, when she was on the set the shoot started by 7 pm as Kapil was already on the sets and he has to be home by 10, thus indicating how he has changed post his marriage with Ginni Chatrath. She said that it's 'The Ginni Effect' on him.      

Juhi’s revelation left everyone in splits and Kapil was speechless. The ace comedian said that she shouldn’t have said this as he was planning to go home two hours late and now he has no choice but to be there on time.

MUMBAI: Ekta Kapoor’s ALTBalaji is soon bringing a new comedy based web-series named ‘Boooooo’. 

According to our sources, this series will mark Bollywood actor Tusshar Kapoor and actor-comedian Krushna Abhishek’s debut on an OTT platform. 

The makers have also roped in actor-cum-comedian Kiku Sharda for the series. Currently, Krushna and Kiku are sharing stage on Sony TV’s The Kapil Sharma Show. 

This will be Kiku’s second project with ALTBalaji after being part of Baby Come Naa along with Shreyas Talpade and Chunky Pandey, while Tusshar was recently seen in Simmba in a special appearance in the song Aankh Marey. 

The actors have already begun shooting.

We buzzed Krushna and Kiku but they remained unavailable to comment.

A second BJP leader from Uttar Pradesh stirred controversy today after apparently cracking a crude joke on Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati. The UP BJP chief, Mahendra Nath Pandey referred to the 1995 attack on the BSP chief by SP supporters and made derogatory comments at a meeting in Chandauli, his constituency.

"I read on social media that a young man had posted that the shawl Akhilesh jipresented Mayawati ji was the same one that his father had taken off her at the guest house," said Mr Pandey, adding that his party had already "tested and rejected" Mayawati.

Last week a lawmaker of the ruling BJP in the state, Sadhana Singh had drawn severe criticism for her shocking comments targeting the BSP chief, who among other things, she said, "was a blot on womankind" having sold her "dignity for power".

"She (Mayawati) has no self-respect... she was almost molested earlier and yet... in history, when Draupadi was molested, she took a vow to seek revenge... but this woman, she lost everything, but still sold her dignity for the sake of power," the lawmaker from Mughalsarai had said.

The BJP has left no opportunity to target the alliance of the two Uttar Pradesh powerhouses Akhilesh Yadav and Mayawati, to defeat Narendra Modi in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. 

After announcing the mega alliance, Mayawati said that this will give Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP president Amit Shah "sleepless nights."

Actor Tiger Shroff, who delivered a successful film in "Baaghi 2" in 2018, says he is under pressure for his forthcoming releases that include "Student of The Year 2" and "Baaghi 3".

Is Tiger feeling pressure to maintain his success ratio with his upcoming releases post the roaring response to "Baaghi 2"?

"Definitely. There is pressure because I didn't expect 'Baaghi 2' would do the numbers which it did so there is lot of expectations among audience for 'Baaghi' as a franchise and not only that, I am also doing 'Student of The Year 2' which is a very big franchise," Tiger said at photographer Dabboo Ratnani's 2019 calendar launch.

"I am stepping into the shoes of three very big stars (Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra) along with my co-stars who are two new beautiful girls. We have lot of pressure on us," he added. 

Tiger added that it is a big film and "we want the franchise to live on so, we have kept our fingers crossed."

Talking about his shooting schedule, Tiger said: "I have finished shooting of 'Student of The Year 2' and currently I am shooting for 'Hrithik vs Tiger' film."

Apart from 'Student Of The Year 2" and "Baaghi 3", Tiger will also be seen sharing screen space with his childhood idol actor Hrithik Roshan in a yet-untitled film produced by Yash Raj Productions.

Sharing his experience of working with Hrithik, he said: "It was like a dream come true moment for me. After every shot, when I see him on the monitor,I feel like I am dreaming because it has been my childhood fantasy working with him. When we do a high speed shot or an action scene then it feels amazing."

Asked what he is learning from Hrithik while working with him, he said: "I have learnt many things from him. If I have to say one thing then, it would be working on minute details of everything. 

"Hrithik sir thinks a lot before giving every shot from every aspect so, understanding his mindset and his thought process in a scene or in an action sequence has been a great learning for me."
