Petta box office collection Day 23: Rajinikanth film is on a rampage
Director Karthik Subbaraj has managed to bring back vintage Rajinikanth in his recently-released flick Petta, which released on January 10.
his year, 2019, has started on a high note for Superstar Rajinikanth with Petta. The Karthik Subbaraj film is running successfully at the box office and has entered the fourth week quite comfortably. Thalaivar is also getting ready for his second daughter Soundarya Rajinikanth's wedding, which is scheduled to happen next week.
Recently, we had reported that Petta has breached Rs 200-crore mark and is aiming to rake in Rs 250 crore at the box office worldwide. The action-drama is a huge hit among the audience as it had brought back vintage Rajinikanth on screen.
In Chennai, Petta has managed to rake in Rs 14.06 crore in 18 days and is going strong at the box office. Distributors and theatre owners are confident earning profits from the film's theatrical run.
