Redmi Note 7 launch event in China saw Xiaomi announce that the Redmi Note 7 Pro with a 48-megapixel Sony IMX86 sensor will be introduced on a later date. In order to gauge customer expectations, the new Redmi sub-brand head Lu Weibing asked on a social media site if the fans had any particular hopes from the Redmi Note 7 Pro phone. To this question, one user replied that he would want Xiaomi to let go of the base 3GB RAM and 32GB storage option, and instead opt for a 6GB RAM and  128GB storage variant for the Redmi Note 7 Pro. This particular comment was then reposted by CEO Lei Jun suggesting that the Redmi Note 7 Pro may get a 6GB RAM + 128GB storage option. There is no official word on when Redmi plans to unveil the Redmi Note 7 Pro.

As we mentioned, Weibing asked on Weibo if users had any expectations from the Redmi Note 7 Pro, a particular answer that asked to let go of the 3GB RAM + 32GB storage option in favour of the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage option, was liked by Jun the most. Jun reposted this answer on Weibo, tagging Weibing, suggesting that the Redmi Note 7 Pro will not see a 3GB RAM variant at all, unlike the Redmi Note 7 which comes in 3GB RAM + 32GB storage, 4GB RAM + 64GB storage, and 6GB RAM + 64GB storage options. Jun instead said a 6GB RAM/ 64GB storage or 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant would be recommended. This means that we may see a 6GB RAM + 128GB storage option on the Redmi Note 7 Pro.

Redmi Note 7 Pro price (expected)

Earlier, Xiaomi had reportedlyannounced that the Redmi Note 7 Pro is slated to be launched after Spring Festival this year. The smartphone is expected to come with the same design as the Redmi Note 7, pack the same 4,000mAh battery with Quick Charge 4 capabilities, but is rumoured to be powered by the Snapdragon 675 SoC, and not the Snapdragon 660 SoC. The Redmi Note 7 Pro is tipped to retail with a price tag of CNY 1,499 (roughly Rs. 15,800).

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today coined a term that could succinctly sum up ...er many children across India - "PUBG-wala" - as he fielded questions on exam stress at his "Pariksha Par Charcha 2.0".

As a mother complained to the Prime Minister that her son was avoiding studies and was addicted to online games, PM Modi replied: "PUBG-wala hai kya? (is he a PUBG gamer?)". Relatable. The audience roared with laughter.

On a serious note, the Prime Minister said it was not good to dissuade children from technology. "Explore ways in which you encourage your children towards accepting and understanding technology. But remember, technology should be used to expand our horizons, not to let it shrink us in our life. It should not be allowed to narrow us down, as that would be very harmful for us," he advised.

"Like everything else, technology too comes with its positives and negatives. As parents, we must guide our children to get the most from technology. Encourage their inquisitiveness on learning about various apps... like how to build something, or cook something."

He said if parents tried to make these efforts, children would hopefully move from "playstation to the playground".

The hugely popular online multi-player game PUBG, or PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, has been banned in schools in PM Modi's home state Gujarat. PUBG was launched in December 2017, and has since acquired a massive fan base in India and worldwide.

A students' body in Jammu and Kashmir has also asked for a ban on PUBG, blaming it for poor examination results.

Simmba is on track to break box office records and become the biggest hit of director Rohit Shetty’s career. Just like his film, Shetty also won hearts at the recently concluded Mumbai Police’s annual cultural festival Umang 2019where he donated Rs 51 lakh to the Mumbai Police welfare fund. It is believed that the contributed money is from the collections of the director’s latest film Simmba, which has Ranveer Singh essaying the title role of Sangram Bhalerao. 

Shetty, along with Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh and Ajay Devgn handed over the cheque on behalf of his production house Rohit Shetty Picturez to the Commissioner of Police at the event. In fact, three of the filmmaker’s most successful films have featured a cop as the central character. His cop-drama films Singham(2011), Singham Returns (2014) and Simmba(2018) have all gone onto do great numbers at the ticket window and won praise from the critics.

Like every year, the annual fest Umang 2019 was a star-studded affair. In an interview by Marvel star Gwyneth Paltrow after Avengers: Infinity War, the actress revealed that Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) and Pepper Potts have a child together in Avengers Endgame.

How many of you remember the conversation between Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark and Gwyneth Paltrow’s Pepper Potts in the beginning of Avengers: Infinity War? The couple are in a park chatting about Tony’s dream. Stark reveals to Ms Potts that he had a dream about them having a child and that she was pregnant. He also goes on to say that in his dream, they name the kid after her uncle Morgan. However, Ms Potts refutes being pregnant and insists that Tony give up his Iron Man alter ego if they plan on seriously considering having a child.

However, in an old interview from last year, Hollywood actress and Marvel star, Gwyneth Paltrow, may have accidentally revealed that they do in fact have a child in the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) film, Avengers: Endgame, according to a report in Cinemablend. “Pepper and Tony have had a real long journey together. She obviously starts as his dutiful assistant, and then the relationship evolves, and now this decade later they're married, and they have a child. Their relationship has evolved in all of the ways that great romances evolve,” – Gwyneth Paltrow said.

In fact, when a fan had asked the makers of Avengers: Endgame – the Russo Brothers about Tony’s dream of having a child with Pepper in Avengers: Infinity War, the director duo too replied with a cryptic message suggesting that the dream could very well be real. “It was a dream, but dreams are mysterious.” – Russo Brothers. 

Now, this development, while being a major spoiler will be a huge deal in the upcoming MCU film. We already know from the first trailer of Avengers: Endgame that Tony Stark is stranded in space without food and water and will most likely die (or that is what the makers would have us believe). 

And he is clueless about the fact that he has a child. Imagine his wrath on Thanos when he does find out about this fact. We are less than three months away from watching his reaction when he does. Avengers: Endgame will hit theatres on April 26.

MUMBAI: Ekta Kapoor’s ALTBalaji is soon bringing a new comedy based web-series named ‘Boooooo’. 

According to our sources, this series will mark Bollywood actor Tusshar Kapoor and actor-comedian Krushna Abhishek’s debut on an OTT platform. 

The makers have also roped in actor-cum-comedian Kiku Sharda for the series. Currently, Krushna and Kiku are sharing stage on Sony TV’s The Kapil Sharma Show. 

This will be Kiku’s second project with ALTBalaji after being part of Baby Come Naa along with Shreyas Talpade and Chunky Pandey, while Tusshar was recently seen in Simmba in a special appearance in the song Aankh Marey. 

The actors have already begun shooting.

A second BJP leader from Uttar Pradesh stirred controversy today after apparently cracking a crude joke on Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati. The UP BJP chief, Mahendra Nath Pandey referred to the 1995 attack on the BSP chief by SP supporters and made derogatory comments at a meeting in Chandauli, his constituency.

"I read on social media that a young man had posted that the shawl Akhilesh jipresented Mayawati ji was the same one that his father had taken off her at the guest house," said Mr Pandey, adding that his party had already "tested and rejected" Mayawati.

Last week a lawmaker of the ruling BJP in the state, Sadhana Singh had drawn severe criticism for her shocking comments targeting the BSP chief, who among other things, she said, "was a blot on womankind" having sold her "dignity for power".

"She (Mayawati) has no self-respect... she was almost molested earlier and yet... in history, when Draupadi was molested, she took a vow to seek revenge... but this woman, she lost everything, but still sold her dignity for the sake of power," the lawmaker from Mughalsarai had said.

The BJP has left no opportunity to target the alliance of the two Uttar Pradesh powerhouses Akhilesh Yadav and Mayawati, to defeat Narendra Modi in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. 

After announcing the mega alliance, Mayawati said that this will give Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP president Amit Shah "sleepless nights."

Is Tiger feeling pressure to maintain his success ratio with his upcoming releases post the roaring response to "Baaghi 2"?

"Definitely. There is pressure because I didn't expect 'Baaghi 2' would do the numbers which it did so there is lot of expectations among audience for 'Baaghi' as a franchise and not only that, I am also doing 'Student of The Year 2' which is a very big franchise," Tiger said at photographer Dabboo Ratnani's 2019 calendar launch.

"I am stepping into the shoes of three very big stars (Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra) along with my co-stars who are two new beautiful girls. We have lot of pressure on us," he added. 

Tiger added that it is a big film and "we want the franchise to live on so, we have kept our fingers crossed."

Talking about his shooting schedule, Tiger said: "I have finished shooting of 'Student of The Year 2' and currently I am shooting for 'Hrithik vs Tiger' film."

Apart from 'Student Of The Year 2" and "Baaghi 3", Tiger will also be seen sharing screen space with his childhood idol actor Hrithik Roshan in a yet-untitled film produced by Yash Raj Productions.

Sharing his experience of working with Hrithik, he said: "It was like a dream come true moment for me. After every shot, when I see him on the monitor,I feel like I am dreaming because it has been my childhood fantasy working with him. When we do a high speed shot or an action scene then it feels amazing."

Asked what he is learning from Hrithik while working with him, he said: "I have learnt many things from him. If I have to say one thing then, it would be working on minute details of everything. 

"Hrithik sir thinks a lot before giving every shot from every aspect so, understanding his mindset and his thought process in a scene or in an action sequence has been a great learning for me."

But I feel every aspect of the person must be shown, be it good or bad. Only then will you remain true to the person.”

She adds, “Yes, I was approached by many filmmakers for my biopic. If I ever go ahead with it, I will definitely want all aspects of my life to be covered. I feel Alia Bhatt will fit in my shoes the best.”

MUMBAI: The makers of the most anticipated biopic of the year ‘PM Narendra Modi’ have finally gone ahead to announce the names of actors who will be a part of the main cast for the film. After actors Darshan Kumaar and Boman Irani recently joined the film’s cast, the latest to join the multi-starrer cast are actors Zarina Wahab, Manoj Joshi, Prashant Narayanan, Barkha Bisht Sengupta, Akshat R Saluja, Anjan Shrivastav, Rajendra Gupta and Yatin Karyekar.

Says Producer Sandip Ssingh, “A solid star cast with talented actors is the base of an effective cinematic experience. With ‘PM Narendra Modi’ we have got actors who are not just experienced but are also the right mix for a prestigious project like a biopic on Mr Narendra Modi. I am excited at the prospect of having such a talented cast and to work with them along with Omung."

‘PM Narendra Modi’ the biopic will traverse the journey of Narendra Damodardas Modi from his humble beginnings to his years as Chief Minister onto his landmark win at the 2014 election and finally being nominated as the Prime Minister of India.

With a poster launched in 23 languages, this larger than life biopic will be shot extensively in Gujarat and across locations within the country. Producer Sandip Ssingh is currently busy with the shoot of ‘PM Narendra Modi’ which has already commenced.

There are already rumours about Iron Man and Captain America dying at the end of Avengers Endgame. Here’s our pick of top 10 Marvel superheroes who will survive the battle with Thanos

Ever since the first trailer of Avengers: Endgame hit the web, it has been all about fan theories and speculations. Reddit has been buzzing with superhero geeks and nerds speculation the future of their favourite superheroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). With Endgame, MCU’s Phase 3 will come to an end and Phase 4 will begin. There are rumours abuzz about Iron Man and Captain America biting the dust at the end of Avengers 4 in their battle with Thanos.

So, we thought of riding this wave and give you a list of probables who are likely to survive at the end of Phase 3. Check out our pick of 10 such MCU heroes who’ll continue to be Avengers after Endgame:

1) Spider-Man

This one was the easiest to guess considering we already know that Spider-Man’s next film, Spider-Man: Far From Home is awaiting its release. Moreover, Marvel has already confirmed that the events of Far From Home will happen post Avengers: Endgame. 

2) Captain Marvel

In a Captain Marvel featurette, Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige has already confirmed that Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel is going to become the strongest Avengers and lead the team going forward. So, clearly, she’ll survive Thanos’ onslaught and move forward to fighting bigger threats. 

3) Black Panther

While T’Challa may have been dusted in Avengers: Infinity War, but you can bet he is coming back along with the rest of the crew. Add to that, Black Panther recently got nominated for the Oscars, first ever comic book movie to do so. And it has a genuine chance of winning. You can bet that Marvel will ensure that this character survives. In fact, Feige in an earlier interview had revealed that Marvel has plans of a Black Panther sequel. 

4-7) Guardians of the Galaxy

Rocket and Nebula may have survived the snap but we saw Groot, Drax and Peter Quill getting dusted while Gamora gets thrown off a cliff by Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War. However, since all the dusted characters are coming back anyway, or so is the buzz, you can bet that barring Gamora, the rest of the team is expected to return for sure. Add to that, before James Gunn got himself in a controversial situation, he had confirmed directing Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3, which of course will happen post the events of Avengers 4. In fact, Gunn had also revealed that Gamora too will continue to be a part of the team, so she too will survive.

8) Dr Strange

There have been enough reports, even before and more so after Avengers: Infinity War that Marvel is planning a Dr Strange sequel. So, you can bet that the sorcerer supreme, who got dusted by Thanos’ snap is not only coming back, but also going to survive the final battle and move forward to phase 4. 

9) Black Widow

Last year, after the release of Infinity War, fans finally got their wish when Marvel revealed that they are finally going to give Black Widow her own solo movie. We saw that she survives the snap, if her movie news actually materialises, you can bet that she survives in Avengers: Endgame and goes on to Phase 4.

10) Ant-Man 

While The Wasp and her parents got dusted in the snap, Scott Lang a.k.a Ant-Man survived because he was stuck in the Quantum Realm. However, we saw in the first Avengers: Endgame trailer that Ant-Man has returned and is doing well. Marvel executives had earlier revealed a plan for trilogy for Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man series. The first two movies have done well, so you can bet that Ant-Man is going to make it past Avengers: Endgame.
